Friends of Sabeel UK Peninsula Group present a conference on Christianity, Zionism and Justice with Revd Dr Stephen Sizer. Anne Clayton, Coordinator, Friends of Sabeel UK will also talk about the nature of Sabeel Jerusalem and Friends of Sabeel worldwide, with workshops during the afternoon.

Sabeel was started by Palestinian Christians to promote non-violence and reconciliation based on justice for all the national and faith communities in Palestine and Israel. Sabeel encourages the cooperation of all the faith communities in the region to work for justice and peace in the Middle East.
Friends of Sabeel UK is working in Britain for a just and enduring peace in Israel and Palestine. Its work involves:
- Supporting the ecumenical ministry of Sabeel Jerusalem
- Raising accurate awareness in the UK of the situation in Palestine and Israel and particularly of the suffering of Palestinian Christians
- Working to promote a just and peaceful solution for Palestine and Israel, based on respect for international law, human rights and religious tolerance and a fair sharing of natural resources.
