The first Sunday of October is an international day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. Millions of Christians from around the world will be praying for God’s plans and purposes for Jerusalem and all her people, both Jews and Arabs, to be fulfilled.
In 2012 the day of prayer will take place on Sunday 7 October. Here are some ways to get involved:
- Pray with others in your church or small group, wherever you are in the world. There are resources to help you to pray and to encourage others to pray, on the DPPJ website at http://www.daytopray.com/Resources/ministryresources and from the Kairos Resource Centre.
- Sign the resolution at http://www.daytopray.com/difference/resolution and commit to pray on the first Sunday of October.
- Tune into GOD TV for their special Jerusalem Celebration on 7 October
- Volunteer to help facilitate DPPJ in your church or region.
