Right in the centre of Falmouth at the church of King Charles the Martyr, the coffee shop is run by volunteers to raise funds for various local charities. There are different charities running the shop on different days of the week, so opening times may vary. The coffee shop is open from Easter through the summer. Footsteps Coffee Shop has been running at King Charles the Martyr Coffee Shop since April 2011, raising money for the Falmouth/Penryn foodbank, Kidz Klubs and Street Pastors, and currently operates the coffee shop on two Fridays a month.
The coffee shop serves a selection of light lunches, home-made cakes and cream teas, along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks. All the food is provided by volunteers, mainly from Falmouth and Penryn Churches Together. Prices are affordable and you can bring your own food if you wish, as long as you buy a drink.
David’s Hot Pepper Jelly and home-made jams and chutneys are for sale. Why not stop and browse the second-hand book stall while you’re there?
