Soul Survivor is a five day event where thousands of us gather together to journey with God seeking Him, praising Him, listening to His word and praying for each other.
The main focus of the events are morning and evening meetings where we spend time worshipping God with music, learning more about Him through His word (the Bible) and waiting on the Holy Spirit to change us and equip us to live lives for Him. As well as main meetings and seminars we have a bunch of venues from chilled out cafes through to awesome gigs!
Soul Survivor is about following Jesus better, so is really aimed at (Christian) young people, though you don’t have to be a Christian to come or part of any particular denomination. We spend times seeking God in our main meetings though these aren’t compulsory… there is loads of other stuff to do. Everyone is welcome, whether they class themselves Christians or not.
As well as main meetings and seminars we have a bunch of venues from chilled out cafes through to awesome gigs… it’s pretty fun!

Pentecost is the church’s birthday… the perfect time to celebrate the Christian faith.
Pentecost Festival started in 2008. In collaboration with Christian organisations and local churches, the streets of London were filled with over 100 events. Five years later and Pentecost Festival has attracted tens of thousands of people to events across the capital. The Festival has seen the Church leave the building and creatively connect with society. The Festival has included a variety of events in coffee shops, parks, theatres and night-clubs, as well as iconic venues such as Leicester Square, the O2 arena, Marble Arch and even a boat on the Thames. The Festival has also featured on BBC ONE.
The biggest birthday party ever!
From 2013 we want to see Pentecost Festival grow even bigger, spreading across the UK . We want you to help us host ‘The Biggest Birthday Party Ever’. By providing training, resources and expertise, Pentecost Festival plans to help empower local churches to organise at least one community event and become ‘Party Hosts’.
To launch the Festival week and the celebration of the ‘Biggest Birthday Party Ever’, the festival will be hosting an outdoor prayer gathering to bless the city of London and our nation followed by a full line-up of worship in Methodist Central Hall, Westminster.
‘Pentecost 7:14’, Parliament Square, London 6 – 7pm. Co-ordinated by both Pentecost Festival and 7:14 Prayer, this prayer gathering will take place on Parliament Square, launched by the Bishop of London, Richard Chartres. The vision is to see hundreds gathering on the Square to pray for our Church, our capital, our nation and the world. This is a free event but registration is required – email prayer@pentecostfestival.co.uk.

Following the release of the Campfire album earlier this year, Rend Collective Experiment will be touring the UK in May. Expect an awesome night of worship from the eclectic collective of multi-instrumentalists from the North of Ireland. The Belfast, Lisburn and Manchester tour dates have sold out but there are still tickets for the remaining dates including Bristol on 1 May. Rend Collective Experiment are supported on this tour by Beth Croft and Ben Cantelon, and by Nathan Jess in Bristol and Belfast.
You can also hear Rend Collective Experiment live in Devon later this year at Obsession youth gathering 29 July.
Obsession is a gathering for young people; it will be taking place this summer in Devon, on the 28th – 31st July.
We’re all about gathering young people who want to go deeper into His Word and Spirit and raising up young revivalists for this nation.
Obsession is now into its third year and is a 4 day camping event that takes place in mid-Devon from 28th-31st July.
This year we are joined by our hosts Lloyd Katz (Bath City Church) and Seb Cummings (Jubilee Centre Devon) as well as the bands Joshua Generation, local worship group – NOVA, and Rend Collective.
We will also be joined by both local and national youth leaders who will be covering our seminar program.
Aside from our main meetings, we have lots of stuff to do including cafe venues, sports programs, and exclusive access to swimming and 5-aside facilities.
We would love to see you there, and would really encourage you to pray about joining us this year.
If you would like more info, then you can head over to www.obsessiongathering.co.uk or contact us on Facebook or Twitter.
Details for separate day/evening passes (including for Rend Collective Experiment) are also available on the website, for those who are unable to make the whole thing.

The new album from the Rend Collective Experiment was launched yesterday. Described on Cross Rhythms as combining “the honesty of Elbow, the surges of Sigur Ros, the passion of Celtic soul and the off kilter inventiveness of Sufjan Stevens into the worship music arena”, Rend Collective Experiment is a unique outworking of a desire to build an extended family of worshippers seeking God together.
The album was recorded around a campfire on Ballyholme Beach, N.Ireland with a group of people invited via social media – this short video tells the story behind the album:
