The Way to the Father

Peter and Heather were the founding directors of the School of Ministry at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, now Catch The Fire Toronto. They were sent out from TACF in 1997 to spread and nurture revival with a focus on the Father heart of God. Their ministry has brought healing to people in many nations and is best expressed by Isaiah 61, “beauty for ashes, oil of joy instead of mourning and a garment of praise instead of despair”.

Encounter has been uniting Christians from across Cornwall over the last 18 months to pray for revival, to worship in freedom, and to fan the fires that are already burning.
Encounter: opportunity to express our passionate belief in the promises of God over Cornwall and to press in to take hold of those promises.
Encounter: God’s people coming together to call on our Father, with one voice offering ourselves for service.
Encounter: time in his presence to give him praise, to receive his will, empowered to live his kingdom “…on earth as in heaven”.

Previous speakers have included Jonathan Oloyede, host of the National Day of Prayer at Wembley Stadium; Mark Marx, founder of Healing on the Streets; David Carr, one of the national overseers of the Free Methodist Church; prophet Julian Adams; evangelist Greg Downes; Revd Barry Kissell, associate rector of St Mary’s Bryanston Square and former director of the Faith Sharing Ministry at St Andrew’s Chorleywood; and Ruth Bourne from Bethel Church, Redding, California.
During the first weekend in October, 10,000 young people gathered in the desert 60 miles north of Cairo to sing, pray and worship the Lord. The youth gathering was followed up with an even larger event at the same location – on October 25th – 28th ‘Count It Right’ Christian rally which drew 45,000 people. Included in the numbers reported by a Christian leader are:
25,000 – estimated number of people who gave their lives to Jesus
8,000 – cards filled out by people who requested follow-up visits by churches
2-3 million – estimated number of people who followed the rally on two Christian satellite channels
1,000 – children participating in a special programme prepared for them
5,000 – people attending a one-day parallel festival on October 25th in the Coptic Orthodox Cave Church
6,000 – people attending another similar gathering from different churches on October 28 in Assiut, a city located six hours south of Cairo.
Big numbers, but most important of all, a great harvest! Praise God for the work of the Holy Spirit among the Egyptian people. (2Cor.13:14)

Look to Germany, Northern Italy and Eastern Europe
During a long and revelatory worship set on November 20, 2011, the Holy Spirit took me up and into a vision where I flew over Europe and saw the territory the Lord had marked out for the outpouring of His Spirit in the coming years.
On the first pass through Central Europe, the Lord took me back to places where I had been in recent years – particularly in Germany and Italy. He then rolled back the memories and said that ministry will look very different in the years to come in Europe. A sovereign move of God will flow like a spring snow melt that begins with a trickle as the initial snow pack melts, then gains strength and rushes and roars into various watersheds for a season that will change the face of European Christianity.
The Lord showed me that as Germany is the first nation to fully embrace the move of God, the rivers of Germany will carry the rushing waters into other countries. I saw Germany come alive in the Spirit. And as the fire of God’s love consumed them, they spread the word through Austria and the spring thaw rushed over the Alps into Northern Italy. I also saw the Swiss-Italy border watershed capturing the flow of the Spirit. Then, I heard the Lord say, “Look to the university towns of Germany and Northern Italy for a revival among the youth who will carry it throughout Eastern Europe.” I believe this includes Heidelberg University in Germany and Padua in Italy (the second oldest University in Europe where Galileo taught).
As I flew along the Danube into Budapest I saw the crystalline image of a silvery angel hovering above Budapest. Showers of silver rained down upon the Danube and flowed to the east. And wherever the river flowed, revival flowed. For the Lord is redeeming His people out of the ravishes of oppression and into the total freedom of the Holy Spirit. The silver and the gold are His to give where He pleases, and it is time for the Eastern European Bride to step forward out of the ashes and into the adorning grace of redemption. He has set His gaze upon you. This is the time of your favor – Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, Romania – you who live where the Danube flows.
The Lord Will Be a Ring of Fire Around England and Wales
Then the Lord took me over the United Kingdom where the Cross was superimposed across the landscape. I saw four fires being lit – one in the north, one in the south, one in the east and one in the west of England. And the Lord said, ”I am lighting a ring of fire around England and Wales. And I will be a ring of fire around them.” Look to four churches to become well-known Apostolic Resource Centers in the coming years. They will release the torches that all of England will either be drawn to or repelled by. And the fire of God will protect them.
Then the Lord said, ”Look to the locks that are opening canals long closed.”The re-opening of locks in the U.K. is a sign that the ancient waterways are opening that have held back a move of the Spirit of God. New pathways of the Spirit are opening, new opportunities to spread the Word within the region are opening. As the locks become unlocked, the restored waterways of revival and evangelism will emerge and flow.
I looked this up online after receiving the vision, and read a note of significance concerning the ancient locks: “The Droitwich Canals opened Friday, 1 July 2011, 72 years after they were officially abandoned… 240 years after they first opened on 27 June 1771, the newly restored waterway is the final link in a brand new ‘cruising circuit’ – the Mid Worcestershire Ring. The Ring allows boats, cyclists and ramblers to make a 21-mile circular journey through some of the UK’s most beautiful and historic countryside, from the Worcester & Birmingham Canal to the River Severn, through the city of Worcester and back to Droitwich.”
In the 1770s, when many locks were being built or restored, England was in the middle of the John Wesley revival. It is also interesting to note that in 1939, when many canals and locks began closing, history records that WWII broke out that year. Also, religious historians believe that in 1939, one particular man brought Wicca out of the woods of England and spread its popularity throughout Britain and America, launching a Wiccan revival. It seems like 1939 was a good year to close off the waterways of the natural and spiritual enemy. But now is the time to reopen the waterways of the Spirit and let revival break out!
A ring of fire around the country and a ring of locks within it speak of the coming invasion of Heaven becoming more manifest than ever before to ordinary Believers and unbelievers. Both speak of complete circles – like a wheel within a wheel – and both are signs that the Lord is moving to restore the rich heritage of the Spirit in the U.K.
The vision ended and two questions rumbled through my mind. The first was this: Will Europe experience its Spring thaw in 2012? And the second question was this: As the Lord sovereignly and suddenly lights the fires of revival and evangelism, who will rise up and carry the torch to the neighboring nations?
I believe it will be those who say, “Here am I, send me!” who will go to the surrounding nations, and many who are displaced or students living outside of their home countries in Central and Eastern Europe will find themselves riding the rivers and carrying the torch wherever the river flows.

Note: I received this word in February 29, 2004 but after the witness of the Spirit through a close prophetic friend, I felt led to post this today.
Vision and Word
An enlarged aerial view of England was before me. I was standing in mid air and I began to see fireballs falling from the sky toward the land. As they fell, the part of the fireball facing the ground suddenly changed into an arrowhead, almost resembling a flaming arrow. As the fireball/arrow approaches the ground, their form begins to change into black crows that begin to descend over the buildings below into what is now a darkened land.
Then I heard the Lord herald from heaven, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
A shield then appeared over the nation and blocked the crows from descending. But as time progressed, the shield began to fade. I sensed that this was because people had stopped praying. As the shield disappeared, more of the crows descended over the land again but this time in greater magnitude.
Again I heard the Lord admonish his people to pray. As the people began to pray again I saw in the darkened sky another fire that was approaching. From far off this fire looked white and glimmering, but as the fire approached it turned into a violent red fire as it swept through the land, the black birds were scattered. The clouds overhead began to disperse as it gave way to rain clouds and it only took a few moments before it started raining.
I then heard the Lord say, “I am coming down to this land as the former and the latter rain and the glory and the reformation it shall experience shall be revivalgreater than the former.”
Interpretation
I believe the darkened skies and the crows represented the attack of the enemy on this land and the spiritual atmosphere it has created. I believe that as a nation we shall turn to God, if we ourselves pray and seek His face and turn from our own wicked ways.
I believe also with regards to prayer, we should be persistent in prayer even though we see a breakthrough or whether the opposite occurs.
I am reminded of the story of when Elisha the prophet was about to die and King Jehoash of Israel requested that their enemies be defeated.
Elisha asked the King to strike the ground with the arrows which would represent their enemy’s defeat. The King was reprimanded by Elisha for striking only three times instead of 5 or more hits.
`You should have struck five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram utterly; as it is, you will strike Aram three times and no more.” 2 Kings 13:19M
What we should do
Pray as the Spirit leads. I realise that this will predominantly apply mainly for those who live in this nation and those to whom the Lord impresses and puts a burden on to pray.

I saw a man with a large seed basket, with the strap around his neck. He was casting seed to the left and to the right, with his left and right hand, one and then another… Then I saw giant angels doing the same, but it was miles in each direction. They were walking about twenty miles apart, yet they were side by side, the length of our country, from the north of Scotland to the very south of England. They were sowing seeds of salvation and revival for the coming harvest. I see evangelists that are not saved yet, eighty per cent of all the evangelists are yet to be saved… I see a violent and great anointing coming on them, coming out, being drawn out of sin and death – propelled into ministries, hitting the ground running. God is taking them all the way out of sin and all the way into Him. Holy Spirit terrorists with a message of love, such raw power on the streets everywhere, anywhere.
I see God drawing together to build, God is in the building business. I see key people being raised up, nobodies, and doors opening. God is moving people around, they will move, they have moved and some are moving right now, like chess pieces – in and out and up and down. Key people, broken people – people who have surrendered and allowed God to transform them. People who have been crucified with Christ and they no longer live but Christ lives in them. People who are as “unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground it dies, it remains only a single seed, but if it dies it produces many seeds”. These people have been through a dying process. A time of multiplication no longer addition is coming.
I see prophets who are hidden in the dark in caves they are dormant, asleep as in hibernation. God is saying “COME OUT” and a wind suddenly brings them alive. “Come out, now is the time to run with me throughout this land.”
I see people who are broken who have been so hurt in the church. They look as though they have been beaten up, on the outside and on the inside and they are coming back to the heart of God. They are singing a new song, they are dancing and they are so expectant. I see God building an army of once broken, healed up people. I see plans and purposes written down since the beginning of time, many plans and blueprints on a vast table. His house, his ways – a new design, a new reformation. Young and old no longer limping and bleeding but healed up and flying in the purposes of God. A bride made ready having fallen in love with Jesus…
I see doors opening which have been locked up for generations. I see unity, real unity not just lip service. I see repentance and weeping and then a joining together… bonding, glued together like a well-made carpentry joint with lots of glue. I see new joints and ligaments. I see God moving in raw power so quickly that many miss it. I see denominations working together even Catholics and Pentecostals. I see visitations and demonstrations of power, signs and wonders. There are signs pointing to Him where they have never been before. Many will come to Him in these days but others will say “This is not God”.
I see bridge builders, building bridges between denominations. There is a giant sign on the bridge “MAKE READY FOR THE DAY OF MY POWER”.
I have heard the cries of this nation and my salvation is coming. I am still shaking the church until it conforms to my plan. I sent Jesus that you might be one body, a warrior bride in these last days. So come to me and fall in love with me and let me be your passion, you are my bride. I hear weeping and sobbing in the air over this nation as hearts are melted and wills are changed and broken towards me…
I see angels coming and commissioning ministries, prophesying over people and these men and women and young people are being set on fire, they are running in their calling. For the day of man ordaining man is at an end for I am the I am and I will commission angels to deliver anointings upon my people. No longer your will but mine, no longer by might nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord. For I choose the weak the broken and those who feel unworthy. I see the eye of God searching out those who say “yes I will go, I will do what you ask of me”.
The coming revival will not be like the Hebrides or Welsh revivals, it will be a move of God’s presence. Not just a visitation but a habitation. I will be seen in the clouds there will be wind and rain and fire, people will know it is God. When you see a shaking and a collapse of things as they are, know that it is God for things are about to change. I see towns and cities, churches and meetings and visitations of the Holy Spirit. I see fire and wind, people say “what is it?” just like Pentecost. Then like Peter at Pentecost men will say “it is God – repent”. It is then that the prophets will point the nation to Jesus. I see the words good news on television. I see those who know they need a doctor coming in and queuing up to find Jesus – saying “what have I got to do to be saved?”. I see doors opening up -church doors, doors of halls, gates of football stadiums, long, long queues 100’s… 1000’s…10,000… 100000 weeping. Over the doors is a sign saying “free entry – already paid in full”. I see so many on their knees weeping in his presence, angels dancing fully employed having a ball.
I see young prophets 5, 6, 7, 10 year olds and teenagers being raised up and being planted into schools, colleges and universities. I see schools of prophet are young and old weeping together, learning to proclaim what they see in the spirit… intercession and prophecy. God will not do anything until He has revealed it to his servants the prophets and they will proclaim Him throughout the land. The prophets will call in the prodigals and they will begin to come into the kingdom. They will call in those who are dead in their hearts, those who are lost and blind and those who are dying, the rejected and broken ones and they will come into to his Kingdom. For the leaves of the trees are for the healing of the nations. I see prophets inviting the lost to a banquet, the invitation says “come and receive Jesus, come home to my house”. They will usher in the revival. The prophets will be like ushers at a wedding… ushers at the wedding.
I see revival harvest of whole villages, towns, cities and nations, tribes and people groups. I see presidents and people of power repenting and humbling themselves before their people, they say Jesus is the only way. I see prophets anointing new kings, presidents and rulers, as appointed by God. I hear a wind coming a wind called Love. Many will say “I don’t want this” and they will point the finger of religion and say “this is not God”.
I see so many being drawn to passionate worship and praise, falling in love with Jesus and the angels are joining in. I see revivals in the schools, young leaders in their teens and churches of 20, 100, 500 inside schools and so many signs and wonders. I see television and newspaper headlines, they show good news everywhere, headlines changing and a national excitement of hope and repentance as in 1945. I see from above front rooms, bedrooms, offices, factories, boardrooms, I see shady dealings, hidden sin, dishonest deals and crimes in the dark. Places where sin abounds, I see tongues of fire coming into the darkest places. I see the fear of the Lord upon the face of sin and so many coming out of darkness into the light. I get the words – “The son of righteousness with healing in His wings”.
I have felt trembling in my stomach several times recently. it is almost incessant but is not intrusive. Does that make sense? Something is about to happen here in UK but I dont see it yet – I only hear it and feel it.
I look out over the UK landscape and I see a huge wave approaching, almost on top of us, but the Spirit tells me this is not why I am trembling. This is the first wave of a “tsunami” of the Holy Spirit breaking over us and bringing unprecedented miracles of the “greater things” ilk. The Spirit is saying that what is coming behind this first wave is something so different, so amazing, that we could not imagine it.
I do see children involved and I see many attempts to suppress their enthusiasm. However, their faith, being so child-like, is exactly what the Lord is seeking and we adults need to adjust our mind-set to be more simple and more literal – just like a child is. Our problem is, well mine is at least, that we over think and rationalise Holy Spirit moving among us. He wants us to just accept His changes of direction, His different approaches to similar situations, as simply Him being Holy Spirit. In fact He says, “STOP”. “Stop trying to anticipate Me. Stop trying to manoeuvre or even to out-manoeuvre Me. I will do and move as I will and all you can do is accept Me or grieve Me again.

For many of us, we know there must be something more to this Christian life. We read about people who seem to lead exciting lives for God – healing the sick and doing the things that Jesus used to do, but it seems so inaccessible to ‘ordinary’ people.
