In 2013 Benny McLaughlan visited Cornwall, including St Michaels Mount, and felt that Cornwall was a real resting place, with such beauty and peace, and a holy place for God. While in St Mawes he was given Isaiah 1:25 and God spoke saying:
‘Cornwall shall be called a nation by God and you will be a nation in your own right’
He calls Cornwall to fasting and prayer.
‘I will turn my hand upon thee and I will purely purge away all this dross and take away all thy tin.’ (Isaiah 1:25)
‘I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning. Afterward thou shalt be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City’ (Isaiah 1:26)
‘And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark; and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them’ (Isaiah 1:31)
Benny McLaughlan lives in Berwick-upon-Tweed, near Holy Island in Northumberland. He is attached to the Northumbria Community and shares as God gives him word.
