Do you shop online?
Did you know that every time you buy something you could be raising money for Kingdom Vision?
Over 3,000 well known retailers including Amazon, M&S, Boden, Waitrose, House of Fraser, Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic and many more, will donate a percentage of what you spend to Kingdom Vision when you shop with them, via the fundraising website easyfundraising.org.uk.
On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping – and those donations soon mount up.
How does it work?
It’s like collecting storecard points in a supermarket, but instead of earning points, each purchase generates a donation. So rather than going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising first and choose the retailer you want to shop with – then everything you spend with that retailer earns a donation for Kingdom Vision. It’s completely free to use and your shopping won’t cost you a penny more.
You can also install the Find & Remind toolbar, which donates 50p to us when you first download it, so that when you shop online, you’ll be told if the retailer is donating through easyfundraising so you never need miss an opportunity for a donation to be made on your behalf.
Whenever you do an internet search at http://kingdomvision.easysearch.org.uk/ easyfundraiser pays us 0.5p for every internet search you do. It costs you nothing! Simply go about your normal internet surfing and watch the funds add up! Although the amounts are small, it is surprising how quickly they add up, especially at christmas time.
When you register simply nominate us as your cause when you shop online - http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/kingdomvision.
Where does the money go?
We are passionate about sharing what God is doing here in Cornwall and the south west of England, encouraging Christians from all denominations and backgrounds to join together in His work. Kingdom Vision is supported entirely by donations. As little as £1 per month from our regular users allows us to cover the cost of maintaining and updating the Kingdom Vision website and to produce the monthly calendar card. As and when funding permits, we hope to bring back the Kingdom Vision monthly magazine, giving access to the events, resources and articles posted on the Kingdom Vision website to those who prefer paper to online formats. A back issue of the magazine can be viewed at Kingdom Vision magazine, August 2012 (link to pdf).
Please remember us when you do your Christmas shopping!
So whatever you need to buy, from your weekly grocery shop to your business travel, mobile phone, fashion or Christmas shopping, buy it via easyfundraising and raise money for Kingdom Vision at no extra cost to you!
