Faith to Engage (http://www.faithtoengage.net/) is a national project which works to strengthen the voice of churches and faith groups in policy-making across the nine English regions. Funded by the National Lottery’s Big Lottery Fund, it is delivered nationally by Christian social action movement Faithworks in collaboration with nine regional partners.
As part of the Faith to Engage Project, Faithnetsouthwest, the multi-faith Regional Forum of Faith in the South West, is carrying out a project to identify the needs of Black-led churches in the South West region i.e. churches with membership from the Black Caribbean and Black African Christian communities. During the second year of this programme, the project started work with Churches for Change in Gloucester. Faithnetsouthwest is keen to hear from any Black church groups, or those working with them, who would like to find out more about the support we can offer.
