Micah Mobile Ministries (MMM) trains church groups to spread the Gospel by distributing Bibles in their local area. MMM aims to promote the Christian faith, to minister to those in need, and to educate based on Christian principles.
Initially begun in 2002 as a door-to-door ministry giving away Bibles and tracts, MMM has grown and developed into an organisation providing ‘hands on’ training in evangelism for churches or Christian groups. The training is based around Acts 1:8:
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

How it all started…
MMM has grown through God calling Keith and Pauline Horobin from Yorkshire to ‘reach people where they are’, beginning in Cornwall. While still in Yorkshire they received an offer from the International Bible Society; a box of twenty-four Bibles for a hundred pounds; which they purchased. After nine months of praying, including one month in Cornwall where they spent time spying out the land and praying around the ‘high places’ in St Just County Parish, Keith and Pauline arrived in Cornwall in September 2002. The Lord showed Keith which row of houses to begin with. As they sat in the car park looking at the houses, Keith decided to start off by offering them Bibles. Guess what? There were twenty-four houses.
As they prayed, God showed Keith that there was a backslidden Christian in the centre house, where they went to first. A lady opened the door to them; Keith had a prophetic word for her, when she heard it, her eyes filled with tears. After some time her children and ex-husband came to the Lord, and were baptised. Another lady, a depressive and heavy drinker, started attending church after she opened the door to them. She saw God do amazing miracles in her life over several months. Many people who were prayed for on the doors received healing and deliverance.
It took two years and seven months for MMM to visit approximately 1,000 homes in the town of St Just and an equal amount in the parish of St Just. 1,300 bibles and approximately 11,000 testimony tracts were handed out. MMM were supported by thirty-four local Christians and others came from all over the country at various times to accomplish this mission. When Bible distribution was finished, a seven day mission was held in an open air amphitheater in the centre of St Just. Two well known speakers from the North of England were invited and many local testimonies of God’s working in people’s lives were given. Following this success, MMM moved to Hayle, a larger town in 2005, then to Ventonleague in 2006.
By March 2010, MMM had given away 6,543 Bibles. Pauline realised that it would take another hundred and eighty one years to deliver Bibles to the whole of Cornwall, at the same rate. MMM prayed for a new mandate from the Lord, and have now started their current mission – training churches, organisations and groups how to offer Bibles door to door and tell people about Jesus.
