Springs Dance Company are a Christian dance company, performing and teaching original works to inspire and challenge, exploring issues of life and faith through dance.
Based in London but touring in the UK and internationally, Springs Dance Company work with theatres, schools and churches to bring exciting and inspiring performances of contemporary dance and drama alongside dance workshops and residencies. They also offer training through an annual summer school and through their elevate apprenticeship scheme. For churches, Springs Dance Company can offer full-length performances, short performances for special events and occasions, and workshops for children and adults. Dance can work well alongside speakers, encouraging deeper engagement and reflection, as well as providing creative outreach opportunities.
Springs Dance Company’s work with schools is designed to stimulate and challenge, combining Religious Education (RE), PSHE and Citizenship with Dance to help young people to learn about and learn from the Christian Faith. Energetic and engaging workshops combine with assemblies and performances to address current moral and social issues. For younger children, workshops focusing on Creation, Narnia and Exodus are popular but all workshops can be tailored to suit individual schools.
