Cornwall will now have its own More Than Gold ‘Get Set’ training day for Olympic based outreach, especially adapted for our rural communities and small towns and well away from the main activity of the Games.
We will be talking about the Torch Run initiatives, Kids Clubs, Sports events and quizzes and more.
It will be held at Lanivet Methodist Church on Saturday March 3rd beginning at 11am. Drinks provided. Bring a packed lunch or buy fish and chips from the nearby (and widely renowned) fish and chip shop.
(For Lanivet exit the A30 at the Innis Down roundabout and follow signs to Wadebridge. Lanivet is less than a mile from the A30 and there is a car park opposite the church.)
