The Vision

God has placed The Bride very much on my heart and I feel led to produce a magazine embracing all the churches in Cornwall.

Christians in Cornwall can feel very isolated, but at certain events when we all meet together you become aware of just how passionate and alive we all are in our love for Jesus.

Jesus has called us, His church, His bride. Last summer a man had a vision of the bride approaching Jesus on her wedding day and she was grieving because her dress was torn. Jesus looked lovingly at her and simply waved His hand over her dress and it was mended. Her robes were whole and beautiful again. I believe that Jesus wants to mend the dress of the bride in Cornwall. We have worshipped separately and apart from each other too long. I have a vision of the church in Cornwall, united and glorious, coming together before Christ, moving in harmony and displaying the love of Christ for each other, so that we may all inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:16-24).

To build up and encourage the Bride in Cornwall I am currently developing the Kingdom Vision website which will contain:

  • details of events open to all denominations, conferences, worship meetings and visiting speakers, so that everyone might know and have the opportunity to be involved in what God is doing in Cornwall;
  • profiles of local churches and speakers, (because it is easier to love something when you know more about them);
  • information about Street Pastors, Christians Against Poverty (CAP), The Food Bank, Release, Open Doors and other Christian organisations and how individuals may want to get involved;
  • book, music and art reviews;
  • specific encouragement from scripture for the Church;
  • prophecies that have been spoken over the church;
  • testimonies;
  • possibly a debate page;
  • news about current and future events for example pub Alphas, Healing On The Streets;
  • and, most importantly, articles sharing about the wonder of God.

In time I still want to produce a free magazine, because not everyone has access to the internet, and it will include many of the articles you will find here.

The Kingdom of God is at hand and Jesus told us to declare this good news to everyone “As you go, preach this message: “The Kingdom of Heaven is near.” Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.” Matthew 10:7 The very last verse of Acts states: “Boldly and without hindrance he preached the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 28:31

The Vision is to show that we all share the same heart, that the Holy Spirit is doing stuff in Cornwall, that we’re not isolated and struggling but part of a bigger and more exciting plan that God has for all of us in Cornwall and beyond, and that we’re all part of it, regardless of how big or how little the contribution we’re able to make.
