The Vision

When you pray “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, here on earth, just as it is in Heaven” – what do you see?

Jesus described the Kingdom of God many times in parables and lived out the Kingdom of God for us, here on earth, doing as He saw the Father doing, both before and after going to the cross. The New Testament of the Bible shows us how Jesus lived, shares the adventures of some of the early disciples who also lived the Kingdom life, and advises how we too can live that life.

When I see the Kingdom of God here on earth, I see people coming together from all walks of life to worship Jesus. I see people filled with God’s love, loving each other. I see people inspired by the Holy Spirit to share the love of Jesus with those who do not know Him yet. I see people being healed and delivered and saved. It’s a very active community, not a passive one, it’s all-inclusive and the Kingdom is as evident on the streets as it is in any building.

As we follow Jesus we learn more about the Kingdom of God and what living the Kingdom life looks like. It is evident to us that God’s Kingdom is growing and that more and more people are actively living out the Kingdom life.

Part of living the Kingdom life is sharing what we learn and encouraging each other. Kingdom Vision is a resource for sharing about the Kingdom of God and encouraging each other as we follow Jesus, both individuals and churches, across all and any denomination. Kingdom Vision is not a church but created for the church, to build up and encourage the church – in all its varying sizes, shapes and denominations.

We share information about Christian events, churches, organisations and social action projects alongside faith-building articles and prophetic words, both as an encouragement and to enable those who feel led, to join with others in what God is doing in His Kingdom.

We are also praying for provision so that we can develop the calendar card into a free magazine, with articles and features as well as events and prophecies, for those not having access to the website or who prefer to read printed copy rather than a screen.

The events listed by us are organised by Christians but are open to anyone. We mainly cover Cornwall and the southwest but occasionally include other events we think are of particular interest to our readers. We don’t organise any of the events ourselves.
